South African violinist Jordan Brooks is a student at the Royal College of Music, studying under Radu Blidar, supported by an ABRSM Scholarship. Jordan won first prize at the Royal Overseas League Strings Competition and first prize for the Overseas round of the competition in 2024. His one-hour all-Russian programme includes music by Stravinsky, Prokofiev and Tchaikovsky. He is accompanied by Japanese pianist Kumi Matsuo.

American double bassist Levi Andreassen is a soloist & chamber musician studying at the Royal College of Music. Levi won 1st Prizes at the International Society of Bassists, London Classical Music Competition, Haslemere International Strings Competition & Caneres International Competition. His programme includes Schumann, Franck & Bottesini. He is accompanied by Kumi Matsuo.

Welcoming leading musicians to East Suffolk for more than three decades

Concerts at Cratfield presents afternoon chamber concerts on alternate Sundays in the summer at St Mary’s Church, Church Road, Cratfield, East Suffolk, IP19 0BU. Concerts include solo recitals, duos and trios through to string quartets and larger ensembles. We’re also proud to support upcoming young artists through our Cratfield Young Artists programme.

Cratfield is a small village in tranquil and rolling countryside about 5 miles west of the A12, close to Halesworth, Southwold, Aldeburgh, and Norwich. You can find directions here.
